Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has recently issued the new guideline for metal crash barrier to be installed along the national highways. It has been decided that before erecting semi rigid crash barrier on national highways, the road restraint system to be crash tested and shall meet the requirements of EN 1317 or the requirement of American manual for accessing safety hardware (MASH).
To meet the above requirement,NATRAX has commenced development testing of crash barrier as per European standard i.e EN 1317 and successfully completed more than 13 tests on different category of the vehicles. Presently, NATRAX has completed tests for H1, H2 and N2 barrier (I.e W beam and Thrie Beam) and is capable to access all kinds of contaminated levels i.e TL1-TL3, H1-H3 etc. All these tests were conducted in consultation with a Global consultant.
